GOVERNMENT ACTIVATORS LEVEL II: Volume I

These ten lessons concern the foundations, structure, and operations of U.S. government. For example, in a role-play exploration of the roots of democracy, Mediators try to work out a compromise between the demands of the People and the demands of government Leaders. Among the other activities: an "Independence or Not?" debate; writing and trying to pass a bill; dramatizing a cabinet meeting; and creating an overlapping diagram of federal, state, and local government responsibilities.
