THE ORIGINS OF GREEK CIVILIZATION

Three units of study. The first, for grades 9–10, draws from archaeological descriptions of Knossos and Troy. The second, for grades 1–6, approaches the Odyssey as oral history by bringing a storyteller into the classroom. The third, for grades 6–10, focuses on records of the founding of a Greek city-state.
